- 日本国内スタートアップへの新規投資案件の発掘
- 投資実行におけるデューデリジェンス全般

- インパクト／ESG観点での評価
- 投資仮説構築、資本政策・投資ストラクチャー設計
- 投資委員会対応、条件交渉、契約実行
- 投資先へのハンズオン支援
- 成長戦略の推進、事業開発支援
- 必要に応じて社外取締役等としての関与
- IPO・M&Aを見据えたイグジット戦略の立案・実行

- VC／グロースエクイティ／PE等での投資実務経験（目安3年以上）

Position Overview
Impact / ESG Investment Fund - Venture Capitalist
Why This Role
- End-to-end involvement across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and execution to value creation and exit, focusing on growth-stage companies (Series B and beyond)
- Hands-on experience integrating ESG and impact evaluation into investment decision-making and post-investment value creation, alongside financial and business analysis
- Active, hands-on engagement with portfolio companies, supporting strategy, organizational development, and impact creation
- A lean, flat organization offering high autonomy, fast decision-making, and meaningful ownership of work
Key Responsibilities
- Origination and sourcing of new investment opportunities in Japanese startups
- Execution of the investment process, including full-scope due diligence:
- Market and competitive analysis
- Financial and business analysis
- ESG and impact assessment
- Development of investment theses
- Capital structure design and investment structuring
- Preparation for and participation in investment committee discussions
- Negotiation of terms and execution of investment agreements
- Hands-on post-investment support for portfolio companies, including:
- Growth strategy execution and business development support
- Board-level involvement as an outside director or observer, as applicable
- Planning and execution of exit strategies via IPOs or M&A
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of investment experience in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, or related fields
- Strong understanding of the Japanese startup and investment ecosystem
- Strong interest in ESG and impact investing
Working Conditions
- Full-time, permanent position
- Flexible working hours (flextime)
- Tokyo-based role with remote work flexibility (approx. one day per week in-office)
