The role:
As a key member of the transportation group, you will:
- Lead the development of engineering plans and specifications in accordance with FDOT standards.
- Manage federally funded transportation projects across a diverse and loyal client base.
- Oversee multidisciplinary studies and designs, including roadway, drainage, traffic, utilities, and general infrastructure improvements.
- Deliver high-quality civil engineering services for both municipal and state agencies.
- Support client engagement and business development initiatives (a plus, but not required).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering with municipal or DOT-related projects
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-first environment
- Willingness to travel within the Florida service area
- Preferred: Experience with OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D
