LVI is representing a multi-disciplinary consultancy engineering firm in the Northern Virginia area. This firm offers engineering, surveying, land planning, and environmental services.
This firm is looking for a 4+ years in land development either residential or commercial development to join them in there Northern Virginia office.
Requirements:
- 4+ Years of experience in land development (residential, commercial or industrial)
- E License
- BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant degree.
- Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and stormwater modelling software.
- Strong knowledge of land development processes, zoning, permitting, and applicable design codes.
- Based in Northern Virginia
Brief Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage land development projects from conceptual planning through construction.
- Prepare, review, and oversee the design of site civil plans including grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, erosion control, and roadway design.
- Coordinate with surveyors, environmental consultants, architects, planners, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Develop project budgets, scopes, schedules, and proposals.
