Job Title: BIM Drafter - Low Voltage Telecom Systems

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Drafter with a minimum of 4 years of experience in low voltage telecom systems to support design and documentation efforts across a variety of infrastructure projects. This role involves producing coordinated BIM models and construction drawings for structured cabling, telecom infrastructure, and related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate Revit and AutoCAD models for low voltage systems including structured cabling, telecom rooms, pathways, and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with architectural, electrical, mechanical, and security disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
- Produce detailed installation drawings, schematics, and as-built documentation.
- Apply relevant codes and standards including TIA/EIA, BICSI, and NEC.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support clash detection processes.
- Maintain and improve BIM content libraries, templates, and workflows specific to telecom systems.
- Support documentation for permitting, construction, and client handover.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM drafting for low voltage and telecom systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, Revit Add-Ons, and familiarity with Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with structured cabling, telecom room layouts, and pathway coordination.
- Understanding of applicable standards (TIA-568, TIA-607, NEC).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
