Owner's Rep PM - Data Centers
Project Manager - Data Center Construction (Owner's Representative)
We are working with a nationally recognized Owner's Representative and project advisory firm that is continuing to grow its Data Center and Mission Critical team across Texas. Due to continued demand and a strong pipeline of hyperscale, enterprise, and mission critical developments, we are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to support projects throughout the Dallas market.
This is an opportunity to join a firm that works at the intersection of real estate, engineering, development, and construction, managing some of the most complex data center projects in the industry. The organization is heavily involved in mission critical project delivery, site selection, pre-development, budgeting, design oversight, and construction management for clients across the country.
Unlike a traditional General Contractor role, this position sits on the ownership side of the table. You will act as the client's representative, overseeing design teams, contractors, schedules, budgets, risks, quality, and project delivery from inception through completion.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Owner's Representative on large-scale data center and mission critical construction projects.
- Manage project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
- Lead coordination between owners, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall performance.
- Review and manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Track project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Attend and lead project meetings, providing clear reporting to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee contractor performance, quality, and safety compliance.
- Assist with procurement strategies, contract administration, and cost management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Requirements
- Previous experience delivering Data Center and Mission Critical construction projects is essential.
- Experience working as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Owner's Representative, Construction Manager, or similar.
- Strong understanding of ground-up construction projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex technical projects.
- Experience reviewing schedules, budgets, contracts, and change orders.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Join a growing national Owner's Representative with a strong presence in the data center market.
- Work directly with owners and end users rather than being limited to a contractor-side role.
- Exposure to some of the most visible mission critical projects in the country.
- Collaborative culture with significant opportunities for long-term career growth.
- Opportunity to influence projects from early planning and development through construction and commissioning.
If you have a proven background delivering data center projects and are looking to move into or continue your career on the ownership side of the industry, we would be interested in speaking with you.
