The Role
They are seeking a Senior or Principal Contaminated Land Consultant to join their Brisbane team. This senior role involves leading contaminated land investigations and remediation projects across Queensland and beyond. You will work closely with clients, regulators, and internal technical teams to deliver high-quality environmental outcomes. You will manage a team and be a key-decision make that will influence the expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage contaminated land investigations, including PSIs, DSIs, RAPs, and validation reports
- Design and implement remediation strategies in accordance with Queensland and national environmental regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and provide expert advice on contamination issues for infrastructure, industrial, and urban development projects
- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as the Department of Environment and Science (DES) to ensure compliance and approvals
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
- Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering technical growth and team collaboration
- Contribute to business development through client engagement and proposal writing
- Stay up to date with evolving environmental legislation, standards, and best practices
