Principal Facilities Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of ultrapure water (UPW), wastewater treatment (WWT), and water reclaim systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Execute routine and corrective maintenance, ensuring system reliability and rapid response to operational anomalies.
- Track and analyze water quality metrics (e.g., pH, suspended solids, chemical oxygen demand, copper, ammonia nitrogen) to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Operate and optimize automated control systems (SCADA/PLC) for real-time performance monitoring.
- Spearhead water infrastructure design and implementation for new fabrication facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure smooth commissioning and ramp-up phases.
- Review and validate engineering documentation including P&ID schematics, layout plans, and equipment specifications.
- Identify and execute improvement projects such as sedimentation system upgrades and sensor modernization.
- Refine chemical dosing strategies and integrate advanced water treatment technologies (e.g., AOP, membrane filtration, ion exchange).
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience managing water systems in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong technical background in UPW, WWT, reclaim systems, and chemical dosing.
- Proficient in SCADA/PLC operations and engineering documentation.
- Availability for day shift operations with on-call support as needed.
- Experience in facility construction and commissioning.
- Familiarity with advanced water treatment methods (AOP, RO, UF, MF).
- Certifications in hazardous chemical handling or wastewater system operations.
