Project Manager- Cold Storage Facilities
We're partnering with a nationally recognised, design-build contractor known for delivering cutting-edge industrial facilities across the U.S. As they expand their portfolio of advanced technology and cold-storage projects, they're seeking a Travelling Project Manager to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is open to a structured travel rotation.
The Role
As a Travelling Project Manager, you'll take ownership of project delivery from groundbreaking to closeout. You'll be the on-site leader for two weeks at a time, followed by one week working remotely, ensuring continuity and oversight across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site project execution, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and subcontractor teams to drive project milestones.
- Manage budgets, change orders, and reporting in collaboration with the home office.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing industrial or mission-critical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cold-storage, food & beverage, or advanced tech facility builds is a plus.
- Willingness to travel nationally on a 2-weeks on / 1-week remote rotation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and construction documentation.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
