Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a strong background in Land Development Civil Engineering. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who can lead complex development projects from concept through completion, while managing multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and report to the designated Project Executive.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of land development projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee the selection and management of project team members, including consultants and sub-consultants.
- Administer contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with project charters and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Guide the entitlement and permitting process, working closely with local agencies and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, technical documentation, and client presentations.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in land development, with a strong portfolio of completed commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex project scopes.
- Deep understanding of site design, grading, drainage, utility planning, and permitting processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project); experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and BIM tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation
$160K- $200K
