Position: Project Manager / Architect
A respected multi-office architecture and design firm is seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Architect with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in civic architecture. Candidates with backgrounds in educational or healthcare projects are also encouraged to apply. This leadership role involves managing project teams and delivering high-quality design solutions across a range of public-sector building types.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical and design development of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all phases of project delivery-from initial programming and concept development through construction documentation and administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating clear communication and presenting design concepts effectively.
- Mentor and guide architectural teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Architect with a degree from an NCARB-accredited program.
- Proven track record managing complex, large-scale projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- At least 6 years of experience in architectural design, detailing, and documentation across all project phases.
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, for 3D modeling and construction documentation.
- Experience working with public agencies, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Strong commitment to design quality, sustainability, and construction excellence.
Preferred Skills
- Strong conceptual and design capabilities.
- Experience in civic, educational, or healthcare architecture.
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
