Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical construction projects from inception to completion, typically valued at $5 million and above.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships while coordinating with field personnel and internal teams.
- Delegate tasks to project coordinators and engineers; our PMs focus on leadership and financial oversight rather than administrative duties.
- Contribute to business development efforts and support project acquisition.
- Maintain a strong on-site presence across projects within an hour of downtown Columbus.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing mechanical construction projects, ideally with exposure to projects exceeding $5 million.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to read the room and maintain team morale.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and the ability to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Experience with Ohio-based mechanical contractors preferred.
- No specific educational requirements; we value practical experience and initiative.
