Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in ultra-pure water (UPW) systems to lead complex design and delivery efforts across high-tech and advanced manufacturing facilities. This individual will serve as a key liaison between clients, internal engineering teams, and construction partners, ensuring successful execution of technically demanding water treatment projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle project delivery for UPW and high-purity water treatment systems, from planning and design through commissioning and closeout
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment on technical scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical, controls) to deliver integrated system designs
- Oversee development of process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, equipment specifications, and system layouts
- Coordinate closely with construction teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure proper installation and startup
- Monitor project financials, including forecasting, fee management, and change order negotiation
- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and performance targets
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, scope definition, and client presentations
- Provide technical leadership on advanced treatment processes such as RO, EDI, UF, deionization, and polishing systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, environmental regulations, and client-specific standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field)
- 8-15+ years of experience in industrial water or UPW system design and project delivery
- Demonstrated experience managing projects for semiconductor, microelectronics, pharmaceutical, or similar high-purity industries
- Strong understanding of UPW treatment trains, including pretreatment, primary purification, and final polishing systems
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead cross-functional project teams
- Experience with commissioning/startup of water treatment systems preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
