Regional Sales Manager (Asia)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our pump business across Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and supporting channel partners in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in pumps or rotating equipment, combined with proven commercial acumen and regional market experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets across Southeast Asia.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key industries such as oil & gas and F&B.
- Manage and grow relationships with distributors, OEMs, EPCs, and end-users.
- Provide technical and commercial support during the sales cycle, including product selection, quotations, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, service, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project delivery.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings across the region.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates for senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of sales experience in industrial pumps, rotating equipment, or fluid handling systems.
- Strong network and understanding of the Southeast Asian or East Asian industrial markets.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively across the region.
- Fluency in English; additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus.
- Based in Korea, Malaysia or Thailand.
