They are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team and contribute to impactful infrastructure and facility design projects across various sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
- PE license required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Equivalent additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed (approx. 5%).
Responsibilities
- Design complex electrical systems including power distribution, protection, generation, lighting, communications, and security systems.
- Conduct power system studies and simulations using tools like SKM Power Tools or ETAP.
- Perform site reviews to ensure alignment with design specifications.
- Develop technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with sales and proposal teams to support business development.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay current with industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.).
Preferred Experience
- Electrical design for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, or transit facilities.
- Experience with medium and low-voltage power distribution systems.
- Strong knowledge of CADD (3D/4D) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
