A growing multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer with healthcare project experience to lead complex projects from concept through construction while serving as a technical leader and mentor to junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering projects through all phases of design and construction
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary technical point of contact
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers
- Review designs for quality, code compliance, and constructability
- Collaborate with healthcare clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams
Qualifications
- PE license required
- 11+ years of electrical engineering experience within the MEP/AEC consulting industry
- Strong background in healthcare facility design preferred
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing client relationships
- Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and healthcare codes and standards
- Understanding of construction costs, life-cycle analysis, and project execution strategies
