Senior Engineer/PM - Water/Wastewater
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and related civil works
- Serve as Project Manager for multi-discipline projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Act as primary point of contact for municipal and utility clients
- Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including subconsultants, agencies, and contractors
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts at the local, state, and federal level
- Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and contribute to project team development
- Assist with proposal development and client interviews on an as-needed basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8 to 15+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering consulting
- Demonstrated experience managing municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of treatment processes, conveyance systems, and public agency design standards
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams
- Clear communicator with strong writing and presentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience working directly with municipal utilities or public agencies
- Familiarity with funding programs, grant support, and infrastructure delivery methods
- Experience overseeing construction administration or engineering during construction services
