Overview
A leading mechanical construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical piping projects. This role is responsible for full project execution, including safety, schedule, budget, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout
- Ensure safety compliance across all project sites
- Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
- Coordinate with design, engineering, field, and fabrication teams
- Oversee subcontractor scope, contracts, changes, and scheduling
- Ensure installations meet approved drawings, submittals, and RFIs
- Mentor project managers and support team development
- Maintain strong client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office; scheduling tools preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
