The Opportunity: Associate - HVAC Engineering (Boston Office)

We're seeking a seasoned Associate to join our HVAC department in Boston. In this leadership role, you'll manage projects from concept through completion, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development and strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead HVAC design efforts and collaborate with department leadership on project strategy and execution
  • Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects
  • Oversee technical quality and ensure timely delivery of project documentation
  • Present and explain design concepts to clients and internal teams
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
  • Manage design changes, proposals, and approvals
  • Deliver multiple fit-out/renovation projects and/or large-scale developments

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 8-14 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design tools
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Deep understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and cross-discipline coordination
  • Familiarity with documentation standards across all design phases (SD, DD, CD)
