Senior Mechanical Estimator
We have a current opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate mechanical estimates using Quote Soft.
Review drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work.
Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and project handoffs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical estimating.
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Trimble, Bluebeam, Quick Bid) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods.
Familiarity with building codes, industry standards, and regional market pricing (DMV).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
