Role Summary
This is a senior‑level opportunity for an Environmental & Energy Infrastructure Project Manager to support and lead complex energy‑related projects across the Southeast. The position focuses on environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams supporting energy infrastructure development. The role partners closely with clients and stakeholders to guide projects through federal and state regulatory processes from early planning and permitting through construction and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental permitting and regulatory support efforts for energy and infrastructure projects
- Coordinate environmental planning, siting, permitting strategies, and approval processes
- Manage multidisciplinary teams supporting technical studies, documentation, and permit applications
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project stakeholders
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
- Support construction‑phase compliance activities and ongoing environmental oversight
- Contribute to client relationships, proposal efforts, and long‑term project planning initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Planning, or a related field
- Extensive experience supporting environmental permitting and infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and permitting frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting experience supporting energy or infrastructure projects
- Experience with environmental permitting, regulatory coordination, or compliance monitoring
- Familiarity with projects supporting traditional and emerging energy sectors
- Experience contributing to proposals, client development, or regional growth efforts
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $180,000, depending on experience
- Performance‑based bonus potential
