Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Contracting (Raleigh, NC)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex mechanical construction projects in the Raleigh area. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor field operations and ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and junior staff.
• Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical contracting, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and project controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).

Preferred:

• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with healthcare, data center, or pharmaceutical projects.
