Senior Project Manager
A global engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex environmental and engineering projects. This role involves strategic oversight, technical leadership, and client relationship management for projects focused on site remediation, reclamation, and compliance. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and drive projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale environmental and engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Oversee preparation of technical documents such as feasibility studies, remedial designs, and optimization reports.
- Direct field investigations and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level staff.
- Develop innovative solutions for mine waste management, site closure, and remediation of complex contamination issues (PFAS, hydrocarbons, metals, radionuclides).
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Geological Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in environmental or engineering consulting with proven project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of remediation technologies, reclamation practices, and regulatory frameworks (RCRA, CERCLA, EPA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) license; experience with mining reclamation, contaminated site investigations, and advanced design tools (AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS).
