Senior Transportation Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Produce robust, well‑developed transportation design solutions that meet project requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes.
- Lead and contribute to the development of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects for public agencies, including state transportation departments, tollway authorities, and municipal clients.
- Prepare detailed design documents, models, and project plans with accuracy and consistency.
- Apply a solid understanding of transportation design standards, specifications, and established engineering procedures.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring seamless coordination between interrelated design elements.
- Utilize strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities to support effective project delivery and team collaboration.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation design within a consulting or engineering environment.
- Thorough knowledge of state transportation design standards, including roadway design procedures and specifications.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, including CONNECT Edition and OpenRoads Designer.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and understand cross‑discipline design integration.
- Demonstrated strengths in problem‑solving, communication, and leadership.
