About the Role
Do you have expertise in air quality and greenhouse gas (GHG) analysis? We're looking for a CEQA Specialist to join our environmental planning team. In this role, you'll help shape sustainable projects across California by preparing technical analyses and ensuring compliance with CEQA and NEPA requirements.
What You'll Do
- Prepare air quality and GHG impact assessments for CEQA/NEPA documents.
- Conduct emission modeling using tools like CalEEMod, EMFAC, and AERMOD.
- Analyze compliance with state and local regulations, including CARB, SCAQMD, and other air districts.
- Develop mitigation strategies for air quality and climate impacts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and agencies to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience:
- Mid-level: 2-5 years in air quality/GHG analysis and CEQA/NEPA compliance.
- Senior: 8+ years with leadership experience.
- Proficiency in emission modeling tools and strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA requirements.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
