The organization is one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the region, with multiple office locations across the Southwest.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering plans, reports, calculations, and technical studies.
- Direct technicians and EITs to produce accurate and efficient engineering documents for routine projects.
- Interface with clients in coordination with Project Managers when appropriate.
- Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and assess conformance with plans and specifications.
- Research and apply relevant design criteria, regulations, and industry standards.
- Mentor junior staff in the effective use of structural design software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency with Revit/BIM platforms preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of structural building design experience in a consulting environment.
