Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer (2-10 Years Experience)

Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000+ (depending on experience) + bonus potential

We're partnering with a well-established Atlanta-based structural engineering firm known for its technical excellence and collaborative approach. Founded in 2009, this firm has delivered innovative solutions across the U.S., specializing in mixed-use developments, multifamily residential, hospitality, retail, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, and industrial projects. Their portfolio includes landmark projects such as urban residential towers, hospitality venues, and adaptive reuse of historic structures.

Why This Role?

You'll work on diverse projects from concept through construction, collaborating with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors. This is your chance to lead, innovate, and grow within a team that values creativity and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for multifamily, hospitality, retail, assisted living, and industrial projects.
  • Develop plans from schematic design through construction documents.
  • Coordinate with architects and other disciplines to resolve design challenges.
  • Attend preconstruction and construction meetings as needed.
  • Manage Engineers/EITs and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred but not required).
  • Experience: 2-8 years with a commercial consulting structural engineering firm.
  • Licensure: PE/SE preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Revit proficiency; ETABS and RAM experience a plus.
  • Project Experience: Multifamily, hospitality, retail, assisted living, industrial.
  • Leadership experience managing projects and mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
