About the Opportunity
An established structural engineering consulting firm is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join a collaborative team serving a diverse range of markets, including municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater, parks and recreation, industrial, commercial, and specialty projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of structures while developing technical expertise, client-facing skills, and project management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents for a wide variety of projects.
- Coordinate with internal project teams and multidisciplinary consultants.
- Support project managers with project delivery, scheduling, and client communication.
- Conduct field observations and assessments as needed.
- Contribute to technical problem-solving and engineering solutions across multiple project types.
- Assist with mentoring junior staff and reviewing engineering calculations and drawings.
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain in the near term.
- BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience working directly with project teams and clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
- Exposure to municipal, utility, industrial, or commercial projects is a plus.
- Strong organizational, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
