Structural Project Manager
Our client, a well-established and privately held structural engineering firm in San Diego, is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join their growing team. Known for their technical excellence, collaborative culture, and diverse project portfolio, the firm works on everything from coastal residential developments and commercial buildings to seismic retrofits and public infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is ready to take on more responsibility, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow into a leadership role. You'll work closely with senior engineers and project managers while continuing to develop your technical and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Assist in preparing construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants throughout project phases.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration.
- Stay current with California building codes and seismic design standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- PE license in California (or in progress).
- 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience with seismic design and retrofitting in California.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
- Interest in mentoring junior staff and growing into a project leadership role.
