About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Senior Vice President of Global Engineering & Design to define and lead the global design strategy for next-generation data centers. This role will set the standard for scalable, efficient, and future-ready infrastructure supporting AI, HPC, cloud, and enterprise workloads.
As the primary architect of our global design approach, you will establish reference architectures and design standards that deliver competitive advantage. You'll work directly with leading technology companies and top-tier engineering and construction partners to translate complex workloads into optimized facility designs.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where ideas are tested and refined through rapid iteration. You will make critical decisions impacting performance, cost, and speed to market - ideal for a leader who has delivered hyperscale or AI-ready facilities and wants to build design capabilities from the ground up using first principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Define global reference designs for AI, HPC, cloud, and colocation workloads.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to challenge conventional thinking and optimize performance and efficiency.
- Partner with hyperscalers, cloud providers, and large enterprises to translate workloads into facility designs.
- Work with engineering firms, technology vendors, and contractors to validate and enhance designs.
- Anticipate emerging technology shifts and design for evolving workload demands.
Experience & Qualifications
- 15+ years in data center engineering, with at least 7 years in senior leadership overseeing global portfolios.
- Proven track record designing and delivering hyperscale or high-density facilities at speed.
- Experience negotiating with vendors and construction partners at a global scale.
