Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the hands-on design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Develop facility plans, technical reports, and construction documents.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements aligned with regulatory and operational needs.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
- Guide projects through planning, permitting, bidding, and construction phases.
- Support business development and proposal preparation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Iowa or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and infrastructure rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
