Their capabilities span a wide range of wastewater solutions, including lagoon and mechanical treatment systems, as well as supporting infrastructure like lift stations, flow equalization basins, force mains, and gravity sewer networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hands-on design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Develop facility plans, technical reports, and construction documents.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements aligned with regulatory and operational needs.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Guide projects through planning, permitting, bidding, and construction phases.
  • Support business development and proposal preparation efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Iowa or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and infrastructure rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
