Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and strengthen client relationships in the Charlotte and Raleigh markets to expand private traffic analysis work.
- Lead and manage traffic analysis projects from initial concept through final completion.
- Support business development efforts through strategic networking, proposal development, and client engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables and consistent client satisfaction.
- Work with owners and contractors to develop innovative approaches to construction staging and project phasing.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of North Carolina.
- 8+ years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering.
- Proven background in project management, business development, and proposal preparation.
- Experience mentoring and managing junior staff.
- Established relationships with private‑sector development clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of traffic engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
- Strong active listening skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
