A leading engineering firm is seeking a Traffic Project Manager (PE) to support private‑sector traffic analysis projects and help drive business growth throughout the Southeast. Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships in the Charlotte and Raleigh markets to expand private traffic analysis work.
  • Lead and manage traffic analysis projects from initial concept through final completion.
  • Support business development efforts through strategic networking, proposal development, and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables and consistent client satisfaction.
  • Work with owners and contractors to develop innovative approaches to construction staging and project phasing.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of North Carolina.
  • 8+ years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering.
  • Proven background in project management, business development, and proposal preparation.
  • Experience mentoring and managing junior staff.
  • Established relationships with private‑sector development clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of traffic engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
  • Strong active listening skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
