Senior Sales Advisor

We are seeking a strategic, client-focused Senior Sales Advisor to join a fast-growing energy advisory firm with a decade-long track record of excellence. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with deep experience in energy markets, strong consultative selling skills, and a passion for helping businesses navigate volatility with confidence.
As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in expanding our client base, delivering customized energy solutions, and building long-term relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial and industrial clients across deregulated energy markets.
- Lead consultative sales engagements focused on electricity and natural gas procurement, risk management, and sustainability strategy.
- Collaborate with internal analysts and operations teams to deliver tailored proposals aligned with client goals.
- Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and energy pricing dynamics to inform client strategy.
- Provide structured reporting and performance updates to clients, ensuring clarity and control.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in energy sales, consulting, or brokerage (electricity/natural gas).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building lasting client relationships.
- Strong understanding of deregulated energy markets and procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and high integrity.
- Familiarity with sustainability solutions (e.g., solar, RECs, carbon offsets) is a plus.
