BAS Project Manager
The BAS HVAC Control Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of HVAC control systems and building automation projects within our data centers. This role ensures that all systems are designed and implemented to meet operational, energy efficiency, and reliability standards, while aligning with the company's sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end BAS/HVAC control projects from concept through commissioning.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Technical Oversight
- Review and approve BAS design documents, control sequences, and integration strategies.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with data center operational requirements.
- Oversee system commissioning, testing, and validation.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage relationships with BAS vendors, HVAC contractors, and engineering consultants.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with IT, security, and facilities teams.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, ISO, Uptime Institute, etc.).
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-builts, O&M manuals, and control schematics.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and energy efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in BAS, IoT, and smart building system
