BAS Sales Engineer - Tampa/Sarasota

We're seeking a driven HVAC Controls Sales Engineer to grow new and existing industrial and commercial accounts in the Tampa market. This role is ideal for a proactive, hands‑on professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new customers and market channels.
  • Meet with existing clients to identify controls opportunities.
  • Conduct site surveys, estimates, and deliver consultative sales proposals.
  • Maintain activity and documentation in Salesforce CRM.
  • Achieve revenue and gross profit targets.

Qualifications

  • Vocational program or Associate degree in mechanical systems, HVAC, computer tech, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in HVAC Controls/electronic/mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, facility management systems, and related equipment.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Understanding of financial sales concepts (cash flow, ROI, payback, leasing vs. purchasing).
  • Excellent presentation skills with a focus on customer needs and buying drivers.
