We are seeking a Business Development Manager with strong experience in the Japanese energy market, specifically in the development and commercialization of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容
Identify and evaluate potential BESS project sites across Japan.
日本全国でのBESSプロジェクト候補地の特定と評価を行う。Lead negotiations with landowners to secure land rights.
土地所有者との交渉を主導し、土地権利を確保する。Engage with local communities and authorities to obtain necessary consents and permits.
地域住民や自治体と連携し、必要な同意や許認可を取得する。Develop project proposals, business cases, and development schedules.
プロジェクト提案書、事業計画書、開発スケジュールを作成する。Collaborate with technical teams to assess feasibility and optimize design.
技術チームと連携し、技術的な実現可能性を評価し、設計を最適化する。Manage subcontractors for environmental assessments and permitting.
環境影響評価や許認可取得のための外部業者を管理する。Ensure compliance with national and local regulations.
国および地方の規制を遵守する。Drive projects to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status.
プロジェクトを建設準備完了（RTB）状態まで推進する。Monitor market trends and policy developments.
市場動向や政策の変化を常に把握する。Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
関係者向けの報告書やプレゼン資料を作成する。
Qualifications / 応募資格
Native-level Japanese; English proficiency preferred.
日本語ネイティブレベル、英語力があれば尚可。Valid driver's license.
普通自動車運転免許保有。4-5 years of experience in energy project development, preferably BESS or renewables.
エネルギープロジェクト開発の経験4〜5年、BESSまたは再生可能エネルギー分野での経験が望ましい。Knowledge of Japan's permitting and grid interconnection processes.
日本の許認可および系統連系プロセスに関する知識。Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
優れた交渉力とステークホルダー管理能力。Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
