Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
Overview:
A nationally active electrical and construction services organization is seeking a BIM / CAD Technician to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects in the Phoenix area. This role focuses on producing accurate, constructible modeling and drawing sets that support coordination, fabrication, and field installation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and collaborating closely with engineering and field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and modify BIM and CAD drawings to support construction activities
* Assist with 3D model coordination and clash detection
* Prepare shop drawings and layout plans for field use
* Maintain drawing standards, file structures, and documentation
* Incorporate design updates, RFIs, and redline changes
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and detailers
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of BIM or CAD experience in a construction environment
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (electrical experience preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Comfortable working in both 2D and 3D environments
* Valid driver's license
