Senior Project Manager - Building Enclosure Consulting
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

A nationally recognized consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Building Science team, specializing in building enclosure consulting, testing, and forensic investigation. This is a hybrid role based in the Philadelphia area, offering a flexible schedule and the opportunity to lead impactful projects across a variety of building types.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex building enclosure projects from start to finish, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development efforts. This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct façade ordinance inspections and condition assessments
  • Lead forensic investigations and performance testing of enclosure systems
  • Provide design consultation and peer reviews for new and existing buildings
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, staffing, and execution
  • Serve as the primary client contact and develop long-term relationships
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Contribute to industry engagement through conferences, publications, or committees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting, restoration, or design
  • Strong technical knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, fenestration, and air barriers
  • Experience with field testing and condition assessments
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%)

Preferred

  • Professional registration (PE or RA)
  • Scaffold safety training or certification
  • Experience with diverse building types and enclosure systems
