Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute client engagement strategies tailored to the regional water market.
  • Lead business development efforts aligned with broader organizational goals.
  • Oversee financial performance across a portfolio of water and wastewater projects.
  • Represent the firm in professional associations and industry events.
  • Assemble and guide multidisciplinary teams to meet client and project needs.
  • Lead proposal development and client presentations.
  • Utilize internal tools and processes to support strategic pursuits.
  • Negotiate terms with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Contribute technical insights and strategic direction to project planning.
  • Support project delivery while meeting billable targets.
  • Achieve annual sales objectives through both existing and new client relationships.
  • Manage budgets related to business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and regional leaders to align efforts.
  • Follow standardized business practices and participate in leadership training programs.
  • Uphold the organization's core values in all aspects of work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (engineering or related field preferred).
  • 15 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven success in client development and project management in Northern California.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and networking skills.
