Job Title: Vice President of Business Development - Healthcare

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 base + annual & performance bonuses and Commision (uncapped)

Location: Northeast USA (Remote with frequent regional travel)

Primary Responsibilities:

A nationally recognized healthcare consultancy is seeking a driven and experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead growth efforts across the Northeast region. The firm specializes in Medical Equipment Planning, Transition & Activation Planning, Low-Voltage Technology Planning, and Compliance & Accreditation - working exclusively with healthcare clients across the United States.

This is a high-level, client-facing role suited to a true "hunter" - someone who excels at opening doors, cultivating relationships with healthcare decision-makers, and securing new business with complex health systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating new business opportunities across healthcare systems, hospitals, and clinical networks.

  • Developing relationships with C-suite executives, clinical leaders, and operational stakeholders.

  • Promoting the firm's services in Medical Equipment Planning, Activation Planning, Technology Planning, and Compliance across the region.

  • Leading the full business development lifecycle: identifying leads, managing pursuits, developing proposals, and closing deals.

  • Collaborating closely with internal technical teams to position the firm's capabilities and ensure a strong handoff.

  • Attending industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to raise market visibility.

  • Maintaining a strong, up-to-date pipeline and reporting regularly on progress to executive leadership.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of business development experience in the AEC industry, with a strong focus on healthcare clients.

  • Demonstrated success in selling consulting or planning services into healthcare systems.

  • Deep understanding of how healthcare organizations operate, particularly with regard to capital projects and clinical infrastructure.

  • Existing network within the Northeast healthcare market highly preferred.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative sales approach.

  • Self-starter mentality with a hunter's drive and a strategic mindset.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region to develop and maintain key relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
