Camp Hill, PA- Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager
A well-established, employee-focused civil engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Highway Project Manager to join its transportation team in Central Pennsylvania. This growing multidisciplinary firm has a strong presence throughout the state and delivers transportation infrastructure design and construction services on projects ranging from local improvements to large-scale highway programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transportation and highway engineering projects from planning through delivery.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and staff resources.
- Prepare and oversee plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering staff.
- Perform QA/QC reviews throughout project development.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and agency representatives.
- Support business development efforts and maintain industry relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required in Pennsylvania.
- 10+ years of progressive highway engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading transportation project teams.
- Strong background working on projects for state DOTs, tolling authorities, or similar public-sector transportation agencies.
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, InRoads, or similar design software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct occasional field visits and maintain a valid driver's license.
