A well-established general contractor in the Kansas City area is seeking a Civil Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of civil and infrastructure projects. These projects typically range from $1 million to $5 million and include work such as site development, utilities, parks, and public infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, coordinating job site activities, and delivering high-quality work-without the need for travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily job site operations and enforce safety standards
- Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment
- Maintain and update project schedules and documentation
- Lead site meetings and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality expectations
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in construction
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Familiarity with construction software and safety protocols
- Valid driver's license
