- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support construction materials testing (CMT) projects from planning through execution
- Coordinate with geotechnical, environmental, and hydro-focused engineering teams
- Oversee field and laboratory testing programs and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Conduct site visits and inspections across transportation, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects
- Prepare and review engineering reports, documentation, and recommendations
- Mentor junior staff and support technical quality initiatives
- Serve as a resource for clients, project managers, contractors, and design partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological Engineering, or related field
- EIT required; strong preference for candidates pursuing PE licensure within the next 12 months
- 2-6 years of experience in CMT, geotechnical engineering, or site-based engineering work
- Solid understanding of soil, concrete, asphalt, and foundation testing procedures
- Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational abilities
- Ability to perform fieldwork and travel to project sites as needed
