Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commissioning Field Specialist to join our team and support the commissioning of mission-critical data center projects across the United States. This role involves extensive travel (approximately 75%) to project sites and requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or controls systems commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support commissioning activities for data center infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and control systems.
- Review design documents, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and test scripts.
- Perform functional performance testing and system verification.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during commissioning and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Document commissioning results and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company protocols while on-site.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and building automation/control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) across the U.S.
- Commissioning certifications (e.g., CxA, LEED, etc.) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
