About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Administrator to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in construction administration, contract management, and project coordination. You will play a critical role in ensuring construction projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction administration activities from pre-construction through project closeout.
- Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other construction documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design documents and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, meeting minutes, and construction logs.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
- Support contract negotiations and enforce contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with design and project management teams to resolve field issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with local and state regulations in Tennessee is a plus.
