About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee substation construction projects within the utility sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex electrical infrastructure projects and ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of substation construction projects, from planning to commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
- Ensure adherence to utility regulations and environmental requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in utility construction, preferably with substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and utility standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
