The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Country Sales Lead to anchor and grow the business in Japan. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading market expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with global objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across climate tech, SaaS, and sustainability sectors.
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand presence in Japan.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Mentor and support the existing junior business manager in Japan.

Requirements:

  • 15-20 years of experience in sales leadership roles, ideally in SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Strong network within Japan's corporate and sustainability ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing teams.
  • Climate tech experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Japanese and English.
