Role Overview
As CTO, you will lead the company's technology strategy, product development, and innovation roadmap. You will work closely with the executive team to align technical initiatives with business goals, drive R&D efforts, and scale the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology vision and strategy.
- Oversee the development and deployment of hardware and software products, including seismic monitoring systems.
- Lead R&D initiatives in collaboration with academic and industry partners.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of technical infrastructure.
- Manage and mentor engineering and product teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into the company's offerings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with investors, partners, and clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in a startup or growth-stage company.
- Strong background in hardware systems, environmental monitoring, or geophysical technologies.
- Experience with product development cycles, from concept to commercialization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Familiarity with academic-industry collaboration is a plus.
- Fluency in English; Japanese language skills are not required.
