Design Engineer
We are looking for a Revit Designer who understands how building systems tie into controls and automation. This role owns the modeling and documentation of electrical, mechanical, and low voltage systems that support automated equipment, industrial processes, or smart building environments. You will work closely with controls engineers, project managers, and field teams to produce accurate, build ready drawings.
What you will do
* Develop Revit models for electrical, mechanical, and control system layouts
* Produce plans, sections, schematics, device layouts, panel elevations, and cable routing
* Coordinate with controls engineers to verify device placement, I O counts, network topology, and power requirements
* Maintain drawing standards, families, and templates across projects
* Review submittals and vendor drawings and integrate final equipment selections into the model
* Support field teams by generating as built updates and resolving design conflicts
* Collaborate with BIM, architecture, and other engineering disciplines to avoid clashes and maintain alignment on design intent
What you bring
* Strong Revit experience focused on MEP or industrial environments
* Ability to interpret controls narratives, P and IDs, block diagrams, and panel layouts
* Understanding of PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, power distribution, cable types, and networking basics
* Experience coordinating with engineers and project stakeholders
* Solid attention to detail and ownership of drawing accuracy
* Familiarity with BIM workflows, clash detection, and revision management
