Digital Forensics Director
Our client is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Digital Forensics to lead and expand their Digital Investigations practice in Texas. This is a senior leadership role within a globally recognized consulting firm specializing in forensic investigations, litigation support, and risk advisory services. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strong network, and a proven track record of delivering and growing high-value client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice Leadership: Lead the Digital Forensics team in Texas, overseeing case strategy, technical execution, and client delivery.
- Revenue Generation: Drive business development efforts with a focus on generating $500K+ in annual revenue through new and existing client relationships.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to law firms, corporations, and government entities on matters involving digital evidence, cyber investigations, and incident response.
- Technical Oversight: Guide complex forensic collections, analysis, and reporting across a range of digital devices and platforms.
- Team Development: Mentor and grow a high-performing team of forensic analysts and consultants.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry events, contribute to publications, and support marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital forensics, cyber investigations, or related fields.
- Proven ability to originate and manage large-scale forensic engagements.
- Strong understanding of forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM).
- Experience testifying as an expert witness is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCE, GCFA, CFCE) preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
