Director - Dry Utilities
A growing civil construction company in Northern Virginia is seeking a Division Manager to lead its dry utilities operations. This full-time role is based at the company's headquarters and involves overseeing project execution, managing personnel, and driving strategic growth across the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and manage project teams
- Collaborate with leadership on division strategy and growth
- Coordinate recruiting efforts for field and office roles
- Build subcontractor relationships and manage service agreements
- Track leads and opportunities using internal CRM
- Analyze bid results and update pricing with estimating team
- Conduct client follow-ups and team performance reviews
- Ensure adherence to company processes and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of project management experience in dry utilities
- Experience managing crews and projects in DC, MD, and VA
- Ability to read plans and contribute to estimating
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
